“A PICTURE OF THE COUNTY”
“A Picture of the County” is a Telling Stories Through Visuals hands-on writing and art-making workshop project. More than 500 Miami-Dade County community members participated in workshop activities.
This multi-paneled Tapestry features artwork and stories that address several issues that affect Miami-Dade County residents. The issues include:
Abuse and Violence in a Teen Dating Relationship
The Environment - Natural Disasters and Illegal Dumping
Bullying This project is ongoing. Additional issues will be addressed.
